I visited here and was blown away by the quality and variety of their offerings. Each dish was freshly made, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. From the delicate shrimp dumplings to the perfectly steamed pork buns, every bite was a treat. The restaurant has a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, which adds to the authentic dim sum experience. It's clear that this is a popular spot, as the place was packed during my visit. Despite the crowds, the service was efficient and friendly, with carts of steaming dim sum circulating regularly. The energy and liveliness of the restaurant make it a fun spot for gathering with friends or family. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak hours--it's well worth it! If you're in the Alhambra area and craving delicious dim sum, World Seafood Restaurant is a must-try. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu!

No wait on a Sunday during lunchtime. You can order dim sum at the table, they do not have food carts. You can order dim sum, lunch specials and dishes. Lots to choose from. The dim sum ribs were really good and garlicky. The chicken sticky rice was really good. It was soft and very flavorful. Everything else was good. They have all the regular items at dim sum. Shrimp har gow, shu mai, chicken feet, football, rice rolls, etc. I didn't care for the zongzi. It was the Vietnamese style with the mung bean. They have a big dining room and private rooms. HAPPY DIMSUMING

Had a large party in a private room. Service was great. All enjoyed the food. Was very busy for a weeknight which I always take a sign of a good place.

Introduction: I first visited this establishment due to the recommendation from a friend of mine and ever since that visit, I've become one of their loyal customers. Food: Dim Sum Some of my favorite dim sum dishes at this establishment are as follows: Crystal osmanthus cake: The crystal osmanthus cake serves as a great palate cleanser and ending to the meal: it is a dessert that is light, cooling, and refreshing. The best part is the fact the restaurant doesn't skimp on the amount of osmanthus flower they put in the cake and as a result, with each bite, the patrons can fully taste the delicate sweetness and fragrance of the flower. Crispy fish ball: The fish ball is unique in the sense there is an inherent savoriness that's derived from the fish it's made from. The texture of the fish ball is bouncy which means the one making the fish ball has to beat/slap the fish paste repeatedly during the course of making the fish balls [it's a labor-intensive dish]. Pan-fried daikon cake: Unlike the usual pan-friend daikon cake that's served at other dim sum restaurants, the pan-fried daikon cakes at World Seafood Restaurant are refined in its flavors and taste; there is a cleanness to the daikon cakes overall as opposed to being either heavy or greasy. Cocktail bun with coconut filling: It's hard finding a good cocktail bun with coconut filling since very few places make it. I like the cocktail bun due to its texture resembling that of a brioche-bun and the coconut filling inside is delicately sweet and fragrant. Chinese herb with chicken feet: In terms of chicken feet, there are the red braised and herb variety; I prefer the latter between the two because I enjoy the taste and drinking the herbal soup afterwards for the sake of recovery after undergoing an intensive training session. Steamed lotus wrap sticky rice: Amongst all the steamed lotus wrap sticky rice I've tried at other dim-sum locations, the lotus wrap sticky rice at World Seafood Restaurant is the best. The size of the lotus wraps is just right: neither too big nor small. Due to the size of the wraps not being too big, the flavors from the ingredients are more concentrated as a result. In addition, all the ingredients inside are of good quality: one can taste the difference(s) as they're eating the lotus rice wraps. Ambiance: Upscale, spacious, classy Service: The staff is friendly, cordial, and accommodating Price: Reasonable

This restaurant was hit hard by covid and it's such a bummer to see because I really think this place is a diamond in the rough. My family and I love this restaurant. With tasty food, ample parking, and terrific service, it's become a staple restaurant for us to go to. We really LOVE the garlic crab cooked dry here and the staff is so attentive, they'll keep swapping out your plates to get rid of all the shells building up from eating. I also like their westlake soup, sweet and sour pork, and peking pork. At dim sum, I like their chicken feet here a lot! A lot of places have it where it's too fatty/gelatinous, but this is yummy and just perf. They also refilled our tea frequently without us having to ask. Some other highlights: sound volume is pretty low here compared to the cacophony of some other restaurants, which is great because my bf has auditory sensitivities You can actually hear your whole table here and it seems like a lot of people like to do the private rooms. Also, the bathrooms are SO CLEAN, which has been a rarer and rarer find nowadays. I already mentioned the great service, but want to say it again--they're SO nice here, which is one of the drivers that made me want to write a review!! Would absolutely recommend.

I am surprised this place ain't popping during dinner. The food they deliver is absolutely ridiculous. Presentation is beautiful. Aroma smacks your face as the server brings the food in. The food is absolutely delicious. Clams were fresh and its not overwhelmingly salty compared to other restaurants I've been to. Lamb was so absolutely tender with a sweet spin. It harmonizes the saltiness. I would definitely recommend this place out and try their dishes.

First time coming here for dim sum and it turned out to be pretty good. I wasn't expecting much as it wasn't packed with customers but I was pretty good overall. My friend was visiting from out of town and chose this restaurant based off something he read on the plane. He made a good choice on this restaurant. The bao's, hai gao and siu Mai's were all tasty and plump. Service was quick but the only downsize was no carts like traditional dim sum places that I'm used too. They do have pictures and you choose what you want if you can't read Chinese characters so it's good for foreigners. Everything was good and tasty. I'll be back with my out of town guests to enjoy.
